Social Responsibility

With a strong belief in giving back to our communities, and an aspiration to make a true difference to the world around us,  social responsibility and community service are integrated into every school’s academic curricula, where students learn the values of compassion and selflessness, initiating a culture of caring from a very young age.

We highlight below some of the societies and causes we support here below, feel free to let us know at outreach@esoleducation.com if you would like to be involved or contribute in any way:

Children's Club at Recycle City (Garbage City) Cairo

Recycle City is a community in Cairo made up of garbage collectors known as the Zabbaleen. The Zabbaleen community collects garbage from all over the city and makes a living by recycling approximately 85% of the trash they collect, a statistic that far outstrips the 25% recycling of trash by Western companies.  The American International School in Egypt - West Campus fundraises and regularly plans student visits to the Children’s Club as part of their service involvement.

Save the Innocents (SaTin)
The non-profit Save the Innocents (SaTin) organization provides free education for poor and deserving children in Lyari, Karachi, Pakistan. Established in 2005, SaTin’s unique sustainable approach raises funds to initially help provide villagers with an alternative source of income, so that they would send their children to school, rather than put them to work at a young age. Providing a renewed sense of hope and responsibility, SaTin now funds 100% of the education  for children, runs a hospital in the area, and has also built wells and provided hand pumps to ensure fresh clean water. Elementary students at American International School in Abu Dhabi recently raised funds to send donations to SaTin children.
