Emaar Misr announced today the signing of a contract with Esol Education to build a 40,000 M2 international school at Uptown Cairo. Esol Education is a world-renowned education provider that owns or partly owns and operates a total of nine international schools around the world; including the Dubai-based Universal American School and Deira International School; the American International School in Abu Dhabi; the American International School in Egypt’s (AIS) Main and West Campus and the Cairo English School (CES), all in Greater Cairo.
Esol Education’s strategic decision to choose Uptown Cairo as the location of its new school campus was mainly based on the unique location of the development in the heart of Cairo; providing its diverse student population from the Eastern and Western parts of the Capital with convenient access to the new campus through Emaar Drive, the new road connecting West Cairo to the development through 6 of October Bridge and East Cairo through Al Mosheer Tantawy Road.
Esol Education Chairman, Walid Abushakra, said “It is our privilege to work in partnership with Emaar Misr to bring to life their vision for Uptown Cairo, by creating an exceptional international school at the heart of the community, providing world-class international education to the residents of this exclusive development.”
Mohamed Dahan, Emaar Misr CEO, stated that “Emaar Misr is always proud to offer the best to its community; and we are delighted with this partnership with Esol Education; one of the best education providers in the world. The school will benefit from our world class technological infrastructure, thus delivering a unique experience to the students.”
Mr. Dahan commented that the decision to sign a contract to establish an international school of this magnitude comes hand in hand as our residents are getting ready to move into their new homes; which reflect Emaar’s vision of building fully integrated communities and providing its home owners with the best standards of living and world class services.
He also added that, “Emaar Misr will start its expansion path to integrate world class commercial, touristic and business facilities to accommodate not only their residents’ needs but to meet the need of the Egyptian market as a whole.”
